На военном полигоне под Чебаркулем прошла «Гонка героев»: отважные участники, которых собралось более полутора тысяч (были герои и из Миасса), преодолели 30 сложнейших препятствий, хитроумно расставленных на трассе протяженностью более девяти километров. А перед началом гонки военные Центрального округа устроили показательные выступления: в воздухе жужжали самолеты и вертолеты, на земле палили танки, а бойцы спецназа демонстрировали чудеса военной подготовки.
